A welcoming community
for those seeking to deepen their relationship with God,
and to journey in faith with God's people through the
breaking of bread and in service to others, in Christ's name.

- from the Church of Our Saviour Mission Statement

spir·i·tu·al·i·ty

That which is concerned with, or affecting the soul.
That from or relating to God.

Are you seeking a spiritual path?   At Church of Our Saviour, we a are a community of people, children, youth, and adults of all ages, learning and following a spiritual path together and celebrating our unique spiritual gifts in worship, prayer, and shared ministry. Some of us find ourselves spiritually fulfilled through music and the arts. Others find spiritual fulfillment in helping others in need. Some of us seek a contemplative spirituality. Yet others find themselves most spiritually fulfilled in conversation with other spiritual seekers. Together, we engage in the deep mysteries of our lives and God in Christ Jesus, through the breaking of bread, the sharing of story, and acting to bring healing and hope to the world.

Our rootedness in the Christian spiritual tradition means that we can trace our following the spiritual paths of Jesus back two thousand years and beyond. We are a community where questions are welcomed and where the mysteries of faith are lived into more than matters of doctrine. At Church of Our Saviour, your mind, heart, and body are all honored and respected, and we are here to help you find your authentic path towards the heart of God and your unique place in community. Come to be challenged, transformed, and enriched in your journey.

faith

Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.

Our faith as a community, and while our individual views and opinions remain diverse, we put our faith, trust, and hope in God in Christ, who is in the process of transforming the world. As a community of faith, we also call ourselves the Body of Christ, so that we act as Christ's eyes, hands, and ears in the greater world to alleviate suffering, support those in need, and care for all people, body, mind, and spirit, whose paths cross our own. Our faith is based in the Way of Jesus, who shows us through the ancient stories of our tradition how to lead lives that are filled with love of God, neighbor, and all Creation. This is where our faith begins, and we spend our lifetime together in this journey of grace.

la·by·rinth

The labyrinth in the Church of Our Saviour courtyard embodies one part of the spirituality of Church of Our Saviour. By walking the winding path to the center, we engage in an ancient practice of prayer, contemplating our journey as a people and as individuals towards the heart of God. Come walk our labyrinth and share with us in the spiritual journey to which we are called.
