"Let us go forth into the world, rejoicing in the power of the Spirit!"

dismissal from the Book of Common Prayer

At Church of Our Saviour, we recognize that our congregation is part of a greater community, one in which we serve to bring healing, the Good News of God in Christ, and a special presence to those who are in need.

The Outreach Program keeps us in touch with the needs of the greater world, inviting the parish to help those in need both in person and financially, in Christ's name. For more information about the Outreach Program, visit the Outreach page or contact Maggie Lang.

Church of Our Saviour also hosts a wide variety of community resource groups, ranging from Alcoholics Anonymous to Weight Watchers. In the summers, we host Future Filmmakers, and we also lead the coordination of the Youth Addicition and Suicide Prevention Coalition (YAP-C), a grassroots network of local parents, school counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, religious leaders, and our neighbors dedicated to a safe and supportive environment for all our young people. For more information about YAP-C, contact Richard Helmer.

Eucharistic Ministers assist our priests and congregation not only in worship, but take communion and pastoral care to the homebound, sick, and elderly members of our community who cannot otherwise attend worship. They are joined by the Pastoral Care and Healing Team who help support anyone in need who is connected with the Church of Our Saviour community. A group of lay leaders work with our clergy staff in offering worship and prayer services throughout the week. Together, they lead this parish community in a relationship of constant prayer with God and ongoing service and transformation in the greater world.
